Alexander Rosales is an award-winning filmmaker based in Fort Worth, TX, known for his story-driven approach and striking visual style in both commercial and narrative production.
His filmmaking journey began in a high school production course in Austin, TX, where a class project was selected to screen at the 64th Festival de Cannes—his first encounter with the industry up close. He went on to earn a BFA in Film/Video from the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating as “Top Outstanding Senior,” and went on to freelance as a camera operator on national and international commercial projects.
In an effort to fully embrace a story-driven discipline, he completed his dream program at the University of Texas at Austin under the RTF department, one of the nation’s leading MFA programs for directors. His narrative work has screened at notable festivals such as Austin Film Festival, Palm Springs ShortFest, Dallas International Film Festival, NewFilmmakers LA and many more. His short film TEJANO NIGHT earned an Austin Film Society Grant and was selected by over 50 festivals & programs.
Alexander is currently freelancing as a Commercial Director and available for hire.
My role goes beyond directing—I'm a storyteller who is dedicated to the quiet truths behind every brand, cause, or concept, shaping fleeting moments into lasting narratives.
