& Storyteller

Alexander Rosales is an award-winning director and editor based in Fort Worth, Texas. Rosales moves fluidly between intimate observation and visually driven storytelling. His work pairs natural performances with carefully composed imagery, resulting in films that feel both honest and cinematic.

His path into filmmaking began unexpectedly when a high school class project screened at the 64th Festival de Cannes, offering an early glimpse into the impact of storytelling on a global stage. He later earned a BFA in Film/Video from the University of Texas at Arlington before completing his MFA in Film & Media Production at the University of Texas at Austin’s renowned Radio-Television-Film program.

His narrative work has screened at festivals including Austin Film Festival, Palm Springs ShortFest, Dallas International Film Festival, and NewFilmmakers LA. His short film TEJANO NIGHT, supported by an Austin Film Society Grant, screened at more than 50 festivals and programs worldwide.

Today Rosales directs commercial and branded films for agencies, brands, and organizations seeking stories with both emotional weight and cinematic polish. Whether working with a small documentary crew or a full commercial production, his approach remains the same: find the human center of the story and build the film outward from there.
